Our food

MADE OF PLANTS, NOT BASED ON PLANTS

We take great pride in the fact that nearly all of our food is now made in-house. From our vegan patties to our 2,000 Island Sauce, our staff prepares our food from scratch utilizing the best ingredients available. It is important to us that we make our food from actual plants rather than using frozen products simply "based on plants." We believe food tastes best when prepared in a real kitchen, not a lab.

We have spent the past five years evolving and perfecting our vegan burger recipe. A proprietary blend of 30 vegetables, grains, nuts and spices freshly prepared by our team each and every day. Our intention has never been to create a burger that replicates meat, but rather a hearty and delicious vegetable patty made from real ingredients. From our crispy tofu nuggets to our tahini milkshakes, our recipes offer a unique experience found only at Burgerlords.

What we don’t make by hand, we source from like-minded makers that we love. Including: Follow Your Heart, Soom Foods, Grillo’s Pickles, and Miracle Seltzer.

The classic California burger spot is a near-sacred institution. Over the past five years, Burgerlords has become what we’ve always hoped it would —a place for our city, our friends and families to enjoy a meal and find inspiration. We are honored to present our uniquely vegan take to this timeless tradition.

OUR BURGERS

The Burgerlords™ Vegan Burger

Our original burger served on a sponge bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, Grillo’s Pickles and our vegan 2,000 Island Sauce.

The Burgerlords™ Vegan Cheeseburger

Our original burger topped with Follow Your Heart American Cheese, served on a sponge bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, Grillo’s Pickles and our vegan 2,000 Island Sauce.

Buffalo Ranch Tofu Burger

Our Crispy Nugget-battered tofu patty, vegan Fancy Ranch, Frank’s Buffalo Sauce, and carrot celery onion slaw on a sponge bun.

Sourdough Garlic Melt

Our original burger patty topped with double Follow Your Heart Provolone Cheese, double 2,000 Island Sauce, grilled onions, garlic oil on Bread Lounge rustic sourdough.

Brainburner

Our collaborative Braindead burger featuring our original patty, topped with jalapeño chips, chopped chillies, garlic aioli, Follow Your Heart Provolone cheese on a sponge bun.

Classic Grilled Cheese

Follow Your Heart Provolone and American cheese on Bread Lounge rustic sourdough.

Salt brined and skin-on shoestring private reserve potatoes.

Handmade with our in-house seasoning served with your choice of: Fancy Ranch, 2,000 Island Sauce, Sunburn Hot Sauce or Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce.
